Well, let's put it this way - one involves chocolate... the other can be mistaken for chocolate... and that's about where the similarities end. Except that you'd not want to be on the receiving end of either.
This is a situation where the giving is always better than the getting. Which I hope has absolutely nothing to do with how the Dodger pitching will fare against the Red Sox hitting. Here's to the Nats actually showing up against the Gnats.
This adulation ( if it must be, and obviously it must), should be only in Boston and for their fans. What do LAD fans have to do with this guy? Bogus bs... All this bullshit for half a ballplayer. It's a whole lot easier to maintain the big stats when you play half a game every night. A lot easier to hang around until you're 40...the low bar raises it's dreary head again.
Going tonight, hope to see new right fielder get first hit as a Dodger in hitter friendly Dodger Stadium.
I can see it for a NL player who had played here for years, not an AL lifer with three ABs at Dodger Stadium. Fuck this hog-headed c'sucker. Frankly the whole farewell tour thing is tired. It got really tired with Kobe. LA aside, opposing fans hated him.
And Derek Jeter, who endured a ceremony at practically every ballpark he went to during his " farewell tour", even admitted it was tiresome and way overboard. By the end, he grew to not look forward to them at all. At least, he certainly was a complete ballplayer
Half a ballplayer that also juiced. Amazing how that is always swept under the rug because he plays for a media darling.
Shit, I'd rather go to a posthumous ceremony for Duke Snider, a true and great ballplayer and Dodger...everybody that attended would get a nice ripe avocado. I guess it would only be for old guys like me, though.
Wright has had two rough games in a row, so it will be important to jump on him with two consecutive LHP's after that. Team needs to get back on a roll. Feel like a knuckleballer is the type of guy that Grandal and Pederson should crush.
I predict Pederson is going to spin into the ground on one at bat and then his next at bat hit a ball that leaves Dodger stadium
A quiet professional in every sense of the word. He earned his rings and kept his dignity a claim few others can make
My preferred lineup against righties right now: Reddick Seager Turner Grandal Joc Adrian Howie Utley But I doubt they can put Adrian that low I guess, so you can flip Joc and him
Huh, actually, Adrian hasn't been that bad against righties I guess overall. Similar to Grandal's numbers, but Joc blows them away. Adrian probably just needs to be sat against lefties I can't see them putting Joc ahead of Adrian in the lineup against righties but Joc's been damn good against righties. Howie and Utley really need to be at the bottom though
