Dickey. Joey bats & Reyes are fine the others have questions. i hate the fact that guys like Halladay, Bombtista & even twitchles (of the other shit site) acting like this Jays team is the 1927 yankees.
Buehrle might have less questions than any player in the league, he's consistently the same player every year. Lawrie and Melky are locks for 3 wins with upside to be All Stars. E5 hits for power, repeating the rest remains to be seen. You're obviously not looking at this objectively if you "don't get the hype", the hype is reasonable, let's see if it pans out.
by finishing below the Orioles that is... oh, wait, they did that this year... last year was all on Bobby V and the drama, but next year will be all on being the 5th best team in the division (maybe 4th, but I dont see them better than TB, NY or Tor)
Agree... the hype is real as they have a really good team... Melky is not a 3 wins player, as hit success last year was more because of out of reality BABIP... I dont think ROIDS helped him to slap singles all over the place... but their lineup sure looks sick... but that's what pisses me off so much, that they get all this hype over an amazing lineup but people talk about hte Dodgers as if it was just an OK lineup...
i could easily see the sox contending their rotation is pretty damn solid -- dempster, lester, buchholz, doubront and lackey/morales and the additions of drew and napoli plus they're said to be looking at laroche no doubt a competitive division
I think dempster is overrated, Lester and Buchholz had a terrible 2012, Doubront is not a reliable starter and Lackey is an overpaid injured player who had only 1 good season and got paid for it... Drew cant hit, Napoli is injured... LaRoche is good... but still, they are the 4th best team there...
that's why they play the games the best teams on paper don't always win and valentine being gone will improve the chemistry dramatically not saying they win win just saying they can
hey, if the As and Orioles made the postseason last year, anything can happen... but with them trading so many pieces to us last year and adding not so good pieces (unless you are a big Victorino fan), you can easily say they are the 4th best team in their division... come on, just agree with me and lets move to the next one...
