SPEAKING OF THE KINGS!!! Not a huge fan but i love that fuckin coach. By far the funniest laid back coach ive seen in awhile. His post game interviews are unbeatable!!!! lmfao
Kemp is some kinda bum. people shit on Crawford 24/7, but at least Crawford competes and is a tough SOB. Kemp and Hanley are MUST-trades before the deadline. fuck it..package them together with a bank vault if needed..we need young/power arms
Damn after skimming thru the vaGIANTS schedule here on out they have a pretty brutal finish to the first half of this season from here on out. Unfortunately their 2nd half record looks about as easy as can be only positive thing being we play them around 10 times the 2nd half. 6.5 isnt all that bad to be behind but if we are in any much worse of a situation come half way point than we are in now compared to them than ill bet money we dont win the division. Just can not see it happening.
Our 2nd half is a whole lot worse than theirs but if we get our shit together we can easily catch them by midpoint. I know its about as unlikely to happen as Joc starting for us in CF and hitting for the cycle tomorow considering our play as of late but as we seen last year miracles can happen with these baby weinerd bastards. Come on dodgers!
It's a little ridiculous that you are ready to give up on Hanley because of two months of a season. Forget what he did last year or something?
this is the point i've been on since the ddb style became obvious. you can't just have a rah rah guy that says "ok guys lets get out there and play!" you need fundamentals and the players need to know when they make mistakes or deviate from the game plan of the team. giants are a well oiled machine. we on the other hand resemble a wheelbarrow w a flat tire. gotta believe there is a lot of simmering anger on that bench behind the fun puig, gonzo, rye et al. imo everything good that happens for us is more do to sheer player talent, dumb luck and rarely a result of deft thought and execution.
totally agree and it's not just dbb but his limp-dicked predecessors as well joe, grady, jim tracy all nice guys, all regarded as player's managers but tbh, they're all weak when it came to fundamentals and discipline every time we've had a hard-nosed guy on the roster there was a split in the locker room whether it was jeff kent barking at kemp or victorino calling out loney, the clubhouse always stuck with the pussies and why? because they know they've got it easy and they don't want that to change easier to call guys like kent and victorino dicks than it is to actually man up and work yourself in '88, after jesse orosco foolishly put eye black on kirk gibson's hat in st '88... gibson called a team meeting and ripped into the players the difference was, those guys listened they were tired of the losing mariano duncan challenged gibson and was quickly shipped to aaa later in the year, when pedro guerrero challenged him, guerrero got shipped to st louis and all that fun stuff on the bench is great when you're winning but -- at least to me -- pisses me off when they're struggling know what's really fun... winning

If the teams stays confident and calm things will turn around. The talent will will out eventually. Panicking is the worst possible course in this situation.
Who is this guy wearing the #13 jersey. It's like Space Jam where the Monstars steal the talent from the NBA players.
My thoughts precisely dude you found the way to say it. Was going to see alot of our huge season and postseason changing games came after horrible calls wether it was bunting and pitching changes by DBB in which we sat there and thought we are done. Seemed like we stumbled into and won a handfull of huge games that were basically 50 50 chance of does donnies call bury us or does uribe smash a homer after being told to bunt...or kenley n wilson comming in after donny throws a league belli or dominguez out there in a situation u put your red hot war dogs out there to close it out.
I can remember a good 10 huge games where donnies call couldnt have been any worse and we were in a bad position to loose the game because of it but we pull thru in spite of DBB being DBB. Can not remember many calls where after the game i said "well damn donny sure managed to get us the win with his clutch calls down the stretch...great calls all around DBB"
