ownership should fire Ned and Mattingly on THE very day that the Giants advance. sport's ticker should read just like that.. " Giants advance to the World Series..Dodgers clean house "
Yep. I can't stomach another Giants WS....would go into next season with zero excitement. Already, St. Louis has made bad errors and mistakes they never came close to making vs us...sick of them fluking shit
it wasn't any fluke that STL beat the Dodgers, my man. Dodgers frustrated the hell out of us all year. should've come as no surprise. what pisses me off more than most anything when i look back at that series is how everybody knew Ryu's start was gonna be big for us going in..and what do you know..he fuckin showed up and pitched a gem..and our offense backs him up by shitting the bed. i could just slap the hell out of all of them FOR Ryu because i know he wanted to.
I'm more referncing San Fran....I know they have some weird chemistry, playoff mojo thing that works well, but they won game 4 vs the Nats by scoring all 3 runs on walks and a wild pitch. Carpenter who walks on water vs us makes a bad error for a run tonight, Giants got another 2 runs off a bloop single and another mistake....umps miss an obvious balk for a Cards run. Giants take game 1 3-0. They were down 2-0 vs the Reds, 3-1 vs St. Louis in 2012, and we beat the shit out of them down the stretch to end the regular season, yet they're here knocking on their 3rd title since 2010. It's tough to stomach considering they really aren't that good...if they were, they wouldn't have done so terrible in 2011 and 2013
Unless they sweep. That long a layoff would be bad. And because of how baseball works, I can see the gnats beating them in five.
Does God hate the Dodgers? This can't be happening other than by some unearthly desire to punish and cause suffering amongst Dodger fans. What do we have to do? Sacrifice a goat or something?
Look guys. Have a few drinks, close 1 eye, hold your breath and watch the royals play ball. They will start to look like the dodgers after a few min. That's how I'm going to make it through the next month
the speed and the defense that KC has shouldn't slump in a layoff..and thanks to Wainwright's shitty all-star game performance, KC has home field advantage. that crowd in KC is gonna be insane in the membrane. players will be juiced.
Way more than a goat bro. Lots of virgins, but there none available, so we are screwed forever. They all do hate us. We had that series in our pocket, with our one Kemp HR win, and Kershaw on the mound with a substantial lead in both games. And in the first, he completely went to hell in a handbag, poor BP choice by DBB (shocking), and Kershaw did the same again in the last game....with a lead. If you have your best on the hill, and who'se called "the best in the game" by so many, and he fucks it all up, not once, but twice, then it's in cosmic thing plus choking suckitude, and that's not a winning combination by any stretch of the imagination. Actually Ned had little to do with the Kershaw horrors, but a good BP, or any BP at all, would/could have made all the difference in the world. And for that, and his continuing ineptness along with BB god hatred, needs to be addressed.
I'm sorry, but I hate both the gnats and the cards so I'll be going for KC....as they haven't won shit in a looooooooooooooooong time. The longer the cards/gnats series goes, the better. I'm not surprised that Bumgarner went in there and won though...which pisses me off even more. Damn, sometimes it's hard to be a Dodgers fan.
unbelievable so i'm working a party and finally get to check the scores see the giants won, so i'm pissed i get home to watch the highlights... are you fucken kidding me??? the team that played like the '27 yankees against us playing like a bunch of tards against our most hated rival thanks cardinals credit where credit is due, bunghumper pitched like a beast cards played like the padres
No doubt...THAT'S WHAT THEY USE IN UMPIRING SCHOOL TO ILLUSTRATE: "THIS IS CLEARLY A BALK". It's such an enigma watching these two scummy teams...it's great to see Holliday do anything badly or do nothing; joyous to see Crapeneter blow a routine ground ball; great to see puke like Wong suck a load: Adams be just a fat slob as is his eternal fate...etc. But it's the GIANTS doing it to them, So, does anyone else want to tear their teeth out, too? "A pile of little arms"... ------Col. Kurtz (Marlon Brando), in 'Apocalypse Now'. A movie quotation treat! Lots more coming!
I can't even watch anymore unless it's the ALCS. Not going to put myself through another NLCS from hell.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A day after throwing some potential bulletin-board material the Baltimore Orioles' way, Kansas City outfielder Jarrod Dyson ratcheted up his opinion that the Royals are close to taking the fight out of their American League Championship Series opponents. After the Royals beat Baltimore 6-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven ALCS, Dyson was asked by Kansas City Star writer Andy McCullough if he expects the series to return to Camden Yards for a sixth game. "No sir, I don't," Dyson said, "and I don't think [the Orioles] think that either." Given an opportunity to elaborate on those comments following a team workout at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, Dyson took the concept of postseason candor to an even higher level when speaking to a handful of reporters in the Kansas City clubhouse. [+] Enlarge Patrick Smith/Getty ImagesJarrod Dyson said if the Royals win Game 3, multiple people in the O's clubhouse will be ready to go home. "I'll just tell you this, man: If we win Game 3, it's going to be hard for them to sit there and look themselves in the mirror and say, 'We can win the next four,' " Dyson said. "That's tough to do, man. Everything must click. I'm just being honest. "If we take Game 3, I guarantee there are going to be multiple people in that clubhouse over there saying, 'Man, there's no way we're going to beat these guys four games in a row.' It can be done, but everybody ain't gonna be on the same page, I don't think. There are going to be some people ready to go home. There are going to be some people not cheering in the dugout -- just like if it was vice versa on this side. It might be the same way." i don't know why Dyson is talkin shit as a 4th outfielder, but i don't like it. i guess the Orioles' starters are just that garbage.
Pence. I don't question his arm or accuracy. I just can tell if he's actually a good OF, not or jusy lucky because he makes getting to a ball look very very difficult. most of the time.
The Giants are now, and have been for quite a while, offensively at least, a very, very hard team to figure out. They must have the secret to turning into a beast from Dr. Jekyl, because that's what they do every damn October. Bochy must have the formula. The pitching staff you knew was good, to very fucking good, from time to time, but how Pence and Sandoval are now the greatest players ever to don a BB uniform, is simply fucking voodoo magic. But it never fails. It makes a grown Dodgerman cry. Their system is as good as any team in BB's is, and I'll argue that all week long, and their GM is absolutely one of the best. Maybe top of the crop. Talk about having your finger on players whose careers are about to pop....unbelievable. he's done it over and over again, and made late season pick-ups that have been astounding and leave us, for one, pissing in the wind. It's gotten so, it doesn't matter who wins the division any more. And the simple fact is that the team soared to previous unknown heights right after Ned, assistant GM or coffee boy or whatever the fuck he was with them, was out the door. It can't all be luck all the time. It's quite something else....but whatever it is, Ned and DBB don't have a fucking clue what it is. Not in the vicinity. The sooner the long awaited for NewBlue owners know that, the better off they'll be. I hope that Tweet reading Magic gets the message...But they'll be snowed, just like all the other past losers in the LA universe.
