i got .338 from the telecast in the final game against Boston
if it's .312 now, that's still hitting well, so i don't know how you can say CC's not hitting well to begin with...that's the point. give him credit for hitting well...his average was up to .295 just last week. the difference between CC's and Ethier's OPS in August isn't outrageous at all...you're comparing the OPS of a leadoff guy and a guy who hit's 5th or 6th.

last month Crawford was just returning from injury, my man, and trying to get back into the swing of things, so his OPS from last month doesn't bother me. he's back to early season form now.

well then play Ethier over Kemp. nobody wants to go that route because " it's blasphemy " to say that, but CC is solidifying the very top of the order and playing the best defense in the field of any of our outfielders. he's to be left alone.

i think i mentioned that CC's stolen base numbers are down, but if you're trying to prove that Ethier's just as dynamic as CC on the basepaths - good luck. CC is in scoring position when he's on 1st base. Ethier's not. CC can push a bunt down the line or slap one in between 3B and SS and beat it out. Ethier can't.

what makes you think CC can only play LF? that's just CC's position just like Ethier's position is RF, but Ethier's position is also Puig's position, so Ethier had to move. lol there would be no sense in moving Ethier to LF, and CC to CF and just jumbling everything up. CC and Puig are at home in there corner positions and that's what matters. they're only asking Ethier to be solid in CF. there's zero chance of you proving that Ethier can handle CF better than CC could...CC's F% in CF in his career is .993, Ethier's is .983 and CC obviously has more range and is the better fielder. doesn't even matter, dude. the fact that Ethier's getting yanked around from spot to spot just makes him a better option as a bench guy who can come in at any of the positions and be comfortable since he's worked a couple different spots.
again...not surprising, being that CC is a table setter and not a slugger. i don't see your point. CC's job is to get on base and he does that better than Ethier against lefties. that's it and that's all.

no, CC is solidifying the very top of the order for us.

we've been talking about platooning Ethier for two years now, bro. a couple months doesn't undo that. he's hitting well against righties, but our lineup struggles more against lefties if you haven't noticed, so Ethier's strength isn't really keep the team afloat. however, Ethier's weakness against lefties is even more glaring because he's hitting in a RBI spot.

Why is Puig leading off and CC batting second? Did I miss something?
