Lol Well maybe not Puig, but Joc is doing .398 OBP right now. Is it ugly? Yup. But the numbers don't lie, he's getting on, walking more, finding holes, ride it for however long it last Or ride it for a day so we don't get swep, that'd work too
Actually surprised to see his OBP that high. So I will counter with the go-to argument "small sample size". Not to mention, most of those ABs are batting 7th and 8th, in front of the pitcher or AJ Ellis. Honestly, just the less I see of Joc and Puig right now, the better for me.
And actually Puig's OBP against righties this season is .355, so he's not all that bad an option there either. Rather him be there than in a prime RBI spot. I know its bash Puig time and that's the theme right now, but I'm in solution mode
Definitely a smaller sample size than you want, and perhaps not a season-long solution, but enough to switch up for a game and ride a 2 or 3 game wave and get out of this funk and maybe give the team a much needed jolt?
Why is Kendrick not riding the pine for his last AB last night. Imagine the fuss if Puig didn't run that out. Fucking double standards.
