    LOL... settle down Mouse... ... ... I've been there... done that... ...didn't like how your mom ran the place... ... couldn't get a cold beer without a frosty attitude... came back topside a surly Irishman... now what?

    I don't mind people wasting money on stupid humor, at least it tries to be humor, and ANYTHING starring Jim Carrey qualifies as stupid humor. You want to spend major coin watching this phlegm at the theaters? Maybe you're looking for a cameo role in D&D #4??

    maybe i'm thinking of another movie of that type that had a carrey look alike

    It's safe for studio heads to keep putting out re-re-re-remakes and sequels of successful movies and classics. They get funded more easily and they have a built in excuse to keep their jobs if they bomb....

    All about $$$$$

    that and the fact that with the exception of an occasional breakthrough, its all been done
    movies, music, art of any kind really
    getting a lot harder to say "wow that was really original"

    Don't worry, this money didn't come out of the movie fund. They were able to raise 25 million extra bucks before filming.
