Gotcha, you're just mad at making rash negative reactions to small sample sizes. He has a chance, sure, and we all love him, and we all root for him. The Jeter comparison I was making was that Kemp is becoming someone we can't talk about not being on the Dodgers and/or moving out of CF, amongst other things. And Okay gotcha about Greinke, you hate his contract. But thats exactly what people complained about with Kemp and you took it way far. Why can someone dislike the Greinke/Ethier contract but not the Kemp one? I get that Kemp has done a lot for this team and has been a great person off the field, but this is a discussion board and everyone is just a Dodger. Again, Kemp is just an example, but you can't be calling people names for simply disagreeing on something similar to a thing you disagree with. And I don't even care for the Kemp discussion either way, it's just a good example of why people are turned off that they can't seem to disagree with you without getting called something, even if their is rationale for it. Gotcha, so honestly, I asked before, but would you prefer instead of "That is wrong lol" something like "You are a pathetic idiot for thinking so", calling it how someone sees it? I mean, I don't do it, but sorry some do attack it that way, but if that does bother you to the point where you go one step further, idk what to tell you. You've said your main complaint is against the negativity and quick hook against the Dodgers on losing streaks, but you've still attacked people who aren't typically quickly negative. And that's all I want also. I do also fear the losing streak cause trust me, I've been vocal that I do not like the irrational negativity displayed and I know that a losing streak will come cause regression has to happen. But just realize you don't have to be that mean to disagree with those AND those aren't the only types of people you are disagreeing with. I also want fairly analyzing, and listening to each other. We're not always gonna be nice with each other and we're gonna have big disagreements where some times people are gonna be wrong in what they say, and sometimes people are gonna be right. We're gonna have a lot of opinions and a lot of data to support our arguments, and sometimes one person is gonna be right cause of a fact and another isn't. We can let disagreements and/or being wrong go by, and not hold it past that. We all want the same out of this board, a place to discuss, and to be able to feel comfortable to disagree or point out different views without making it beyond what it is.
Yes. OK. I agree. Everyone should be evaluated and discussed, I just think it is very short-sighted to do so based off of what happened this year. Just frustrating to me and it doesn't make sense to go after a team leader that would sacrifice his own health (not saying that is smart) to make a play because they are injured and might not be playing as well. Go after Kemp, Either or whoever else, it's all good....I'll shut my mouth. If people answer me that way, I will respond my way. That is as offensive to me as what I say is to you. My complaint is more about just losing sight of the big picture, rather than complaining. I get pissed as much as anyone else and talk shit in game threads, but a lot of the times it just gets ridiculous, to the point where I'm like "are these people for real?" You are right, I will be less mean. I guess I get fired up and that shit just builds up inside me, then explodes. I will control it better, but I ask that it is also dealt better on the "other side".
shit just reading this thread is giving me a headache... bunch of fucking whiners at DSP... come on guys sack up and grow a thicker skin already... This place, due to lair events, has sooooooo much core friendliness compared to every other sports page I've seen.
