I'm just waiting for the post here with the article title "Dodgers release long-time veteran utility man Chris Taylor."

Major League Baseball has failed again. In their effort to go full woke, they're allowing the left and virtue signaling to destroy yet another piece of Americana.

Segregation was horrible. I get that. This doesn't fix history. If anything, it makes it worse because now we will look at records that were achieved in Negro Leagues and debate whether they're as impressive as their MLB counterparts. It's like combining NBA and ABA records, or worse, NFL and USFL.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a faction that wants MLB to remove anybody from the HOF who played prior to integration. And I bet the league would at least listen.

Oh, you're 100% right. I have no doubt.
I laugh in my post because things are so totally, ridiculously fucked up, plain and simple, this does not surprise me at all.
I expect any outrageous assault on out cultural establishment to eventually become reality, no matter how blatantly absurd or grotesque it is.

Snell added to his stinkage today. At this point he should fire Boras as Montgomery did. What a damaging offseason this was for him.

Of course, the next time he faces the Dodgers he'll turn back into Cy Young, because we've never been able to solve him.

Some interesting roster decisions coming as pitchers return to health.

Do they go to a 6 man rotation when Kershaw and/or Miller are activated? Paxton would probably be the odd man out. Hope to hell it's not Stone.

Paxton might go to the pen to replace either Banda or Ramirez. Going to have to make room for either Kelly and Brasier, too.

Going to have an embarrassment of riches in the pen. With Grove coming to age as a reliever and the new and improved Vesia, there's not a weak link in the group.

    Low indeed.
A good friend of mine (a Met fan!) who owned a great restaurant in Ft. Lee, NJ and some beautiful condos in the area and Daryl and his wife were staying in them. Also had gourmet meals delivered up to him (he personally cooked) to the condo every day...Strawberry told him he would square everything up before he left. Even drank at the restaurant bar and ran a tab. All top shelf stuff.
One day, the waiter comes back with the meals and tells my friend at the restaurant and tells him that there was no one left in the condo...they were gone. No trace. Nothing there...rooms empty.
    That's what Daryl did.
