@kirsten_watson The Los Angeles Dodgers made a series of moves, activating Gavin Lux and Dennis Santana from IL recalling Mitch White from the alternate site, optioning Garrett Cleavinger and trading DJ Peters to the Kiwoom Heroes for half a ketchup packet. They also placed left-handed pitcher David Price on the injured list with a vagina strain.
infuriating and imo inexcusable fucken assclown didn’t even leave the dugout to defend max the team won last year in spite of him, not because of him
Thank you father...it has 50 years since my last confession... Since then , I have cursed, had impure thoughts, and coveted, etc. And masturbated while in Ft. Dix about 80 times. But take it easy on my penance, as I am a Dodger fan and have been punished without any restraint, for many years.
2-6 in our last 8.....extra innings definitely aren't for the Dodgers. Could make the extra innings rule bases loaded 0 outs with a 3-0 count and the Dodgers would still put up 0
You're absolutely right. We won last year because of circumstances being so weird, and a team where everyone was at their peak. Pretty straightforward to manage a team functioning on all cylinders over a two month span. But now, weaknesses and injuries require a clever and creative leader with fiery confidence...and he is failing it looks, just as I thought he would should we encounter multiple problems. It's what you do with a team that is in the doldrums that proves your mettle as a manager. Not filling out lineup cards when your team is steamrolling. Everyone talks about that he has guided this team to it's first championship in multiple decades, which.is true, but noone mentions how many shots he had at it previously, with great teams and league leaders in every stat imaginable. We'll see where this " embarrassment of riches "status they're cultivating now goes, and what he does with it.
I know a lot of Yankees fans used to think you could replace Joe Torre with a monkey and they still would have won as many WS. I feel the same way about Roberts....a monkey could win with rosters we have had
I know he was part of the enemy, but I wonder what Bruce Bochy could have done with these Dodger rosters.
Yes, very interesting question... Can't help wondering what Chase Utley might do either. Definitely stand up for them, that's for damn sure.
Due for a huge breakout. His skin has been suspiciously clear lately, and we’re approaching the end of the month.
I fully understand I’m on the minority on this and won’t convince many but I just don’t see how last year the team was firing on all cylinders making it an easy managerial experience. No way people on here thought that was the case, it was a crazy path full of ups and downs. We were down 3-1 to Atlanta and came back! He outmanaged all 4 managers faced. It’s a 2-6 stretch right now but we still have the best record in the league, all with the injuries. the World Series win didn’t happen 100% cause of him but, I just can’t subscribe to the idea it was in spite of him, when the team has had no public problems of chemistry and had the entire team buying into a team first idea. I believe the wins and losses are like 98% on the players themselves whereas it feels like the wins go 100% to the players and losses 100% on the manager. Maybe some of these bench players should start taking advantage of these opportunities and win us some games instead of relying solely on Seager/Turner.
