    Beckett needs to keep the damn ball down. Pretty sure 98% of the home runs he has given up this year are because he carelessly grooved his 91 MPH fastball right down the pipe.

    never too early to begin playing well :shrug:

    plus other pitchers sometimes get away with a mistake here or there
    seems every time josh makes a mistake it gets hit... far

    I was just looking at Ryu's 162 game projection on baseball-reference, he's on-pace for 261 Strikeouts in 34 starts.

    Out of qualified starters, Ryu is 6th in K/9 with a 10.99 K/9 :O

    And of the 5 ahead of him, only one has a better BB/9

    Outside of the game at Baltimore, i've been blown away with how good he has been. I came into the season thinking i'd be happy if his ERA stayed around 4.00

    How about "we are doing pretty well considering all the problems we have".....
