http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/n...0417&content_id=28895132&vkey=news_la&c_id=la We're picking 18th in the first round.
If we go pitcher, I'm down with Adam Plutko from UCLA. saw him pitch last year at DS against USC. he looked impressive and Keith Law said he has 1st round talent.
http://forums.prosportsdaily.com/showthread.php?t=702369 Sorry to link to the "bad place" but someone went all out on that thread, its really thorough. I recommend it, its got basically everything. And how awesome is getting a supplemental first rounder for that piece of shit Barajas. I think hes hitting like 030.
and if Lucas Giolito is still not taken, swoop him up. he was a top 3 pick before being shut down with a minor elbow problem. he's fine now though
What are some good websites or podcasts I can listen to to learn a thing or two about some prospects?
I've read that Giolito will probably end up just coming to UCLA with Max Fried. But I read this from a UCLA website so it is probable that it is wishful thinking Love the thought of getting Plutko, he is awesome to watch
haha well if he's healthy he'd probably go at least top 5. and if not, then UCLA. so we'll see Plutko is really underrated imo. havent seen him mentioned by anyone else except Klaw
Goldstein mentioned him once or twice But yeah it'd be cool if Plutko did well, really like him but again maybe the scouts see something bad about him. He doesn't really throw extremely hard but has good control
we'll see when we get closer to the draft. i believe he's like 90-93. idk if thats first rounder status haha
I think there is a pitcher committed to SC who had elbow trouble and will likely need to or did sit out last season. Seemed like a Logan type dude, but don't remember his name.
yeah man you're right I would have hated to have those faggots Gerrit Cole and Trevor Bauer last year ewwwww, lets get someone from USC, maybe a guy can be a good bullpen catcher.
