My face after these last 4 games..

 

Well most of the coaching staff have winning backgrounds as players or coaches. Strange that they have this "culture"

 

Lucky for me I work during this shit. Check my phone, see score, move on with life. So much simpler than watching these clowns.

Operative word...most. Unfortuantely, the skip won squat didly as a player. Hanger on as an assistant.

Now full blown failure as an in game skip.

 

JP Howell visibly cares. Kershaw and Zack when shit goes down do too. When I see games like this I see everyone going through the motions. Long season grind, you can't win 'em all and all that. But watch guys like Pagan, pretty shit player, but fucking battles right to the end. Probably get shit for praising the Giants, but we've been better than them for a long time, and yet they have all the glory. Playoff crapshoot, blah, blah blah. But fuck it, they got a whole other attitude up there, even when they are shit.

Harper: "I'm gonna keep tearing up the place until free agency and then sign in LA"

Harper: "Well I'll play RF and you can move to LF?"

Harper: "Alright then I'll move to LF with Joc in center and we'll win a few championships!"

This is actually dope that we're struggling a bit right now. Means we're going to heat up just in time for post-season baseball

 

The fault lies not in the stars, but in ourselves.
I think the constant drone, about having Seagar come up, and Urias, although it's human nature for a fan to want to correct the truly dismal performances, is setting up for big letdown (if mit were to happen). Seems like I read a whole bunch of stuff, lots of words, thousands and thousands actually, about some guy named Joc Pederson not too long ago; he was who we needed to save us, wasn't he?
Well we made the big move to clear the space for him, and he came up, and hit some tape measure jobs, and there was lots of LA usual hype about RoY, and all kinds of "how far is the next one going"? And we were all so psyched about him...rightly so, I think. But...
A HR, no matter how far it goes, counts for one run by itself.
And now, we have Joc as what he has become. Whatever the individual description is of him...whatever spin, it settles down as not doing much for quite a while...not much at all...sadly. Record breaking pace but in the negative.
So, maybe Seager and Urias aren't the answer.
Maybe it needs to come from the team on the field and manager we have, not hope to have.

Only we are not the Giants and do not have the managerial skills to navigate that scenario as they did. But hopeful anyway.
