    Dude, that D'Backs trade is fucking bullshit. 3 NON Prospects for Martinez is a fucking joke. If that is what you are being offered, fucking wait until the 31st in case there is an injury and maybe you nab a better prospect from a desperate team. That just makes me mad. It does not make them better than the Dodgers, but this is the type of move where you throw your hands in the air because some other GM just handed a top flight player to a division rival for freaking table scraps..... awful, just fucking awful

    All I heard was Buehler and Verdugo were untouchable, but had not heard that Alvarez was as well.

    Something to touch on that, Mike Ferrin and his other co-host on MLB Radio this morning were talking about what the Dodgers should do and they were definitely perplexed on how the team should go forward. You could tell they did not have a good grasp of our farm other than they had heard it was loaded with talent. So with that said, they both felt that those 3 are all so good, that they would not want them traded for anything being floated around. Ferrin thinks Buehler is about ready to join the rotation and is going to be one of the best pitchers in the game, they both think Verdugo is a guy you find a spot for in the near future and though Alvarez is struggling, if it clicks, he will be an absolute monster. They both have tons of first hand experience watching those 3 and that was their praise of them.

    White Sox add another top player in Blake Rutherford from the Frazier and Robertson deal. Gotta hope for their sake that their development team has turned things around.

    Anyone hear what the short-term plans are for B
    Every time I hear projections like this about Buehler, I wonder why so many are wanting a trade for a starting pitcher. I know there are no guarantees with prospects, but I think we have enough in-house options that one will work out (namely Buehler, Stewart, or as a fall-back, McCarthy). I really believe that the focus should be on shoring up the pen right now. By the time the postseason roster is constructed, it should be void of names that resemble Romo, Hatcher, and I hate to say it, but probably Avilan.
