They're struggling at the gate. They have a promotion for nearly every single night this season (over 70!).

My Dad's shared season seats (Loge since 2006) have raised significantly. There's no point buying season seats when you can get 60 percent off face value on Stub Hub. They've reached the point where the fans are sick of it. I mentioned this the other day, but they have raised prices on everything. The blackout is finally starting to show its impact. Reading comments on twitter about how kids are completely disinterested in the Dodgers. 5 seasons now. It has to end. You cannot sustain your team being unavailable and invisible to 70 plus percent of your marketplace. You have to figure some thing out.

First time I ever used them. Did a little research on them and they got good reviews.

    HOLY SHIT BREAKING NEWS:
Madison Bumgarner to the DL after injuring himself in a dirt bike accident

Update: So it sounds somewhat serious in that it is a Grade I or II sprain to the left shoulder AC and bruised ribs. If it is a Grade II sprain that could be the Giants season.

Update 2: Rosenthal is hearing that he will be down for 6-8 weeks. That would likely suggest a Grade 1 IMO.
    Wow, what a fucking idiot.

Isn't not riding a motorcycle in contracts nowadays specifically because of this kind of idiocy?

Jack Parkman wouldn't like it, but yeah most sports franchises have language against this stuff in contracts, especially in season. The Giants could go after some of his money if he broke his contract. They never will, but if he was a shitty player, they sure would. Also, not just dumb in that he was driving a motorcycle, he was fucking dirt biking... it's been raining the last two days here and he's out dirt biking in it.... so fucking dumb.

Sorry, but I'm not going to pretend that I'm sorry for him. Can't stand his demeanor - how he expects batters to control their emotions (and feels he should police them) while he clearly doesn't control his own. Serves him right, for being a douche, and let's add idiot to that list.

It's not even a little messed up. Any MLB player who hurts himself dirt biking during the season deserves to be laughed at, and Bumgarner deserves to be laughed at no matter how he gets injured. Fuck that douche.

In fact, here's how much I dislike the guy... I recently bought a new pickup truck. Did my research and Ford, Chevy, and Ram all rated well. Eliminated Ford solely because of his endorsements - didn't even give it a test drive.

Hey, along those lines, he probably won't get endorsement offers for motorcycle manufacturers any time soon.

Kasten will be the first one to cross his fingers tell you that, as long as GuGGs doesn't have to renegotiate. ;) The fact is, now myself, and every other Spectrum subscriber, is paying through the nose for that deal so they should loosen up and let DirecTV and Dish have a better deal so we can ALL benefit but the only way that happens is if Spectrum loses subs due to their price gouging.

This means Cain stays in the rotation. They called up a minor leaguer, but their rotation just went to hell.

    Bwahahahahahah.
