The only real angle i can see for bringing back grey matter is if he somehow gets gretchen to funnel money to his family and say he was still a partner in some way. Other than that, i really don't see any interaction coming. Walt is gonna kill all the nazi's. There is no doubt about that. The question now, is what is jesse's fate and how will walt die. i would actually love if this show threw everyone a curveball and had walt off his family and then kill himself. I mean i think it would go down in history as one of the best endings ever. All these years we have justified and rooted for walt and tried to find anything that would justify his behavior. Trying to ignore the horrible person he has become and grasping at anything positive to justify rooting for him in some way. The fact is, he is a huge scumbag. Yet, people still root for him. What an ending it would be if he offs jesse, and his family and the audience finally is forced to accept the evil person he is.
I think Grey Matter was there to light a fire under Walt. He called the DEA and was ready to give it all up. Flynn made him lose all hope. Now, he's going back to finish off the Nazis and give his family the money he worked for.
going to be awfully hard to get that money to his family. not thinking anyone is going to get to keep that.
I think Borat's got it right with the gray matter money. That predates his criminal activities, so if he can either get his money to Eliott, or manipulate them into giving some of their money to his family, its the way he can finally make sure his family is taken care of. The nazi's are going to get offed, either from walt of from Jessie, or some combination of both. The question is, what happens to Jessie. I think he's going to make it out alive. He's always been the closest thing the show has to a conscience, there will be some kind of redemption for him. He might even be the one that kills Walt. Or maybe he finds a way to get money to Walt's family. Wonder how Lydia is going to die. Either by Todd's hand or ricin in the Tea seem like the logical endgames. I could also see her being the one that winds up causing the nazi's end.
Imo. Walt dies from cancer but not alone. The nazis kill Lydia for trying to fuck them over in a meth deal. Walt and Jesse somehow join forces to kill the nazis, then go their separate ways. Jesse realizes Walt is dying so he doesn't have to kill him. Walt's death somehow triggers Grey Matter to channel money to his family, don't ask me how. Saul ends up just like he said, managing Starbucks or whatever it was in Omaha. The bottom line is nobody wins. The survivors have to deal with these events the rest of their lives. I could be wrong.
Watching these early shows I get more pissed off at Walt jr. He never had respect for his dad, well unless he was buying him a car.
the show really touches pretty hard on what a man would be willing to do for his family and the lonely position that is. when shit hits the fan its all eyes on you. fucking high tightrope.
I don't think Grey Matter could give money to the family of a drug lord without people on their end freaking out.
rare show that leaves at its peak. Started out low, than every season got better than the previous, which is great for it since it makes the historical rankings of it look much better.. Lots of other great shows don't end with its best season. Fantastic ending. Loved that it wasn't anything way too unpredictable but just took care of business in a still gut wrenching way.
I gotta wait like a month to see how I feel about this show as a whole, compared to others. I'm pretty excited cause I'm taking a cool film class and we're gonna analyze this show
OT: Did any of you guys see that LAME!!! ass Need For Speed movie trailer during the commercials. That movie is going to be like the games, horrible. Aaron Paul goes from Breaking Bad to Need For Speed Movie, sad. lol
