I think it was Dickey who led in CG. That means something. I would not be upset if Dickey got it. But, I could see more reasoning for Kersh.

 

No, but it's better than ERA or BAA obviously. Kershaw had an unbelievable season, Dickey's was just a tad bit better. And he'll win it by a landslide because of his story.

I'm bias of course but I think Kershaw was better.

 

If we're talking about stories winning you the Cy Young, then Kersh deserves some recognition for the Roberto Clemente type work he does. Hehe.

 

CK will not get it. It will go to Dickey. Suffice to know that he will be once again, in the running. A team that could actually hit, who didn't have Uribe's on it, an uninjured almost MVP CF, and little less streaky RF, etc., may have brought him over the top because of W/L. When you have a team that even has to worry about the ethnic makeup and "failing your racial heritage group" because of cultural "pressure" in the populace makeup, then guys like CK will always suffer.
It doesn't matter anyway.
What does, IMO, is how his body heals from the hip labrum problem....that's the thing. he'll win the CY again some time.No doubt.
