Randy Choate could be entirely useful.

Gets Elbert some mental relief knowing he isn't the only lefty out of the pen and it gives DBB an alternative he hasn't had all season, win win.

This just in: Hanley Ramirez has said that he wants to go to a new team....one that actually hits and executes.

So the Marlins "Players" are talking shit? I've not heard anything...but it's not like I hang out with Marlin's players or anything.

"I agree with what Ozzie (Guillen) said, how we're all grown men. If you can't the take responsibility and not let him rub off on you if you think he’s doing something you don't like, then that's not really fair," Choate said.
"That's putting way to much on one guy and not assuming the blame yourself as a player. I know all of those guys in the (Marlins') clubhouse and I know they didn't necessarily mean it that way, but sometimes somebody can become the easy target, the one to blame. I think it's unfair to put it on one guy when it's basically the team as a whole because we didn't win. One guy can't carry the whole team all the time. To say it was all Hanley I don’t think is a fair statement but maybe that's why they made a change — that it's good to get him out of that clubhouse and get a fresh start in a new clubhouse."

    A year ago yesterday....

In 109 games since then as a Dodger, Hanley's line is (not counting today's):
    .313/.367/.542/.909 with 25 doubles, 4 triples, 20 HR and 12 SB

If this were to be extrapolated to equate to a 162 games season, his line would be:

    .313/.367/.542/.909 with 37 doubles, 6 triples, 30 HR and 19 SB

I'd say this was one damn good trade. Welcome home Hanley....I see you.

And for NATHAN EOVALDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This might go down as one of the best trades/worst trades ever.

You've had a year to calm down... so did you still want that introduction?

After a year this trade is looking even better than it did when we made it, so I'd guess he'd do more than just suck his dick now.

This was the start of the Kasten influence. Buying low on incredible (but unmotivated) talent is one of the highest percentage ways to hit the jackpot. This move is already a win. Eovaldi is a 7th inning guy at worst and a 4 starter at best unless he suddenly acquires some command and actually develops meaningful offspeed pitches.

Hmmm, Kastan influence? This trade is very much like the Manny trade...pre Kasten. Even the name and swing are the same.

Tht Emo brothers TB and IBB will call some Dodger role player trash, make fun of Greinke's social anxiety, and complain win didn't sweep...too.

LMAO. I was just gonna say that you were gonna respond with that answer and I didn't do it. Wish I had!

    Game 7 night....

You're probably gonna miss the clinching game of the WS when a robber comes into Papa Johns when you're picking up dinner and you're a hostage for 5 hours. Bkitch.

You'll come onto DSP all hard saying you were at the game. Then on KCAL 9 News later that night you're shown on the surveillance tape in the corner crying. :laford:

Chris will be watching the game with Doyer at VRP's place.
BDK will be so drunk he forgot all about the game
IBB and I will be in the front row with Kate Upton and Jeff Weaver
Greinke will be scouting in the dominican republic.

You already know Punto will K in a huge situation, costing us the sweep. ;)

I've never given Greinke shit though.
