    So if this happens who would be the home team which would mean losing 2 or 3 actual home games during the season. The rams are getting dicked in the nfl for going to London and in turn losing a home game. Great home field advantage there.

    Why don't they just do a couple of spring training games there instead. The fans will show up anyway if they are fans of the sport and no one loses out.

    It's the same as MLB opening in Tokyo this past season. You do a regular season game because, even if fans will show up to the stadium, a regulation game will receive much more media attention.

    MLB likes to do this, so a game in Sydney will likely happen. The only question is who will play there, and the report is Australia asked for the Dodgers.

    You fuckers can't even fill a stadium anymore. High school shootings and Honey Boo Boo are all the rage. Pack up the Dodgers and move them to Wanganui New Zealand. I'm sure we can fill up the softball park with our 30k population more than you guys did Dodger Stadium this year.

    Just play a few spring games abroad. Not regular games. Why start the season off with jet lag?

    Solution: Have a promotion in Sydney, fill up a couple of jumbo jets and give the aussies the LF pavilion on opening day.
