As long as he is bringing in the guys in front if him, I'll be happy. If so I could see him matching what SDF posted but with 100+ rbis. Depends on where DBB puts him in the lineup also.
He'll play well again.....in 2014 when he needs another contract. Nothing personal Dodgers fans, that's just the type of guy he is. Unless he was roiding I don't understand why he cannot listen to instruction and find his big 3 tools again. Hit, hit for power, and good speed. His approach is like 'wtf' status. He's so much more talented than this decline from an untouchable player.
I get what your saying but I have to strongly disagree with AGon. He kicked royal ass his first year in BOS. The first year of a long term deal, there was nothing to gain there. Also, Manny WAS playing for a contract when we picked him up in that trade. He was a FA at the end of that year.

IDK exactly what "Mexicaner' means, but if it's to do with a degree of becoming perezoso or something, his bat has already slowed down. He's just aging more quickly that the rest of the universe. I think he'll get his base hits, especially the wrong way to LF, but his power numbers will steadily decline.
Hanley was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, right? If so then he is probably like 32 or 33 as opposed to the 28 he is listed.
your instinctual definition of mexicaner was accurate yes, he will become mexicaner its ok, because mexicaners with slow down when they hit 30 those that dont end up with lots of injury issues and have ugly post 30 careers and then are suddenly done those that pace themselves when they get to that age and start to take it easy and get a little paunchy dont perform as well on a day to day basis but have longer more fruitful late careers of course i just made this observation as i typed it so...
yeah, where is crawford from i always thought he was black until i saw his paunchy face that looks like a mexicaner so he is probably dominican as well the giants had some of those mexicaners too guys that get near 30 and fat starts to accumulate around their face and other areas hmm, fat faces disguise age some, fat dont crack good strategy to pretend you are 4 years younger than you really are for those dominicans with the hawaian birth certificates
Both Hanley and AGon were coming off of shoulder surgery last year and still the press and fans expected big things from them immediately. When it didn't happen they turned on them. Guess what Matt had the same surgery and may struggle at first next year and if we turn on him that will be our own stupidity. Shoulder injuries and the resulting surgery just might impact your swing for awhile after the surgery. Especially if there is any scar tissue to hang up on in your swing.
