    That's about as perfect a Dodger game as a Doddger game can get. Great W, and IMO, extra great because there's no errors by us. Uribe is just the man at the corner. He made 5 errors last year in over 900 chances...or innings, I forget. Either way, not too shabby.
    Forced to listen to the AZ dumbkopfs all night, one of them said "the late, great Ron Cey"...WTF is that? There was an obit written about him, but he's not passed? So I don't know if this was supposed to be a joke or what...I guess two guys that are BB announcers should know the real deal, but I thought for a minute The Penguin died.
    Bummer.

    agreed. reward the youngster for actually having a plan at the plate. CC's done well leading off as well...still, DBB always goes on and on about lengthening the lineup...well, if he kept Dee leading off it'd obviously push everybody back a slot in the lineup. maybe he feels like the development of Puig is more important..he'd be right if he felt that way. BUT who says Puig can't develop if he's batting cleanup? they had him in the middle of the order in the playoffs and he responded well. i think there's something to be said for a talent like Puig's to be sandwiched between Hanley and AGon in the lineup.

    also, i get that Ethier's better than Kemp defensively, but Kemp needs ABs...Kemp needs to be in the lineup. it's not rocket science. i don't give a shit what the numbers say about Andre doing this and that against certain pitchers..not in this instance..Kemp needs ABs. period. Kemp's ceiling is higher and the reward is greater. we were a " Kemp " away from the WS..not " an Ethier ". lol
