    Well we couldn't get the big hit this series and no one besides Puig/Hanley/A-Gon did anything. Absolutely zippo from everyone else. Gonna need to hit good pitching in the playoffs.

    Been awhile since we've been swept. Fuck it, I'm not worried about it. However, it would be nice to have HFA throughout.

    1) I hope Jansen had fun watching 3 one run games from his view on the bullpen bench
    2) this sweep sucked but it's not like we didn't do well against the cards not to lot ago. Shit happens, a good little fall back to earth to get us ready for these last 3 weeks. Plus I'm all for creating more mayhem in the NL Central
    3) although this is concerning, #1 thing we need is health. We are practically in te playoffs with just some wins, and ts a crapshoot in there. I wanna get their in one piece, so I hope all our arms relax a bit before we get there
    4) done with non NL west teams, lets fuck up the NL west now!!!

    haha I wouldn't say it was a "stat slap," it was a "stat love tap."

    Actually, after looking at his career numbers, you're right.

    He's a good back up catcher, career wOBA .316, which I'd take for a nice defensive catcher.

    idc about the magic number. We're gonna win the division. I'd rather see some winning baseball and offense against teams we might face. 1-6 against the last two elite teams we've played. Playoff atmosphere, national TV, had our best out there and keep coming up short. I commend beating the teams we're supposed to but not a good feeling getting swept by these guys. Psychologically.

    We didn't have our best against Boston, but yeah, it would've been nice to beat these teams who we might face.

    Well this weekend was awful. Could have made up ground on the braves who got swept as well but I guess the reds are on a roll. Fuck them and lets sweep the dbacks

    I guess if we sweep the D'bags that'd take off 6 games magic number wise. So it'd be 4 at series end. We could potentially clinch at home against the Giants. But unlikely.
    Whatever. We're gonna clinch at some point. Let's just get the offense going.

    Well I missed the game but check the phone updates and wow, It's a one man team again. This seems like a strange trend with the Dodgers going back a few years. Manny, Kemp, Hanley...anytime we are struggling it was one of those 3 that would try to carry a dead team. How is it this whole team(minus 1 guy) can basically turn it off like that all at once?
