And soon Kemp will join Crawford, adding some rhythm to the lineup. It'll be a who's who of brothers and vatos

Hahaha man this was awesome. I woulda been happy with simply helpin Kershaws CY case but a sweet win on top? Nice. Feels fucking great to watch the DBacks struggle and have all these dramatic wins with them not advancing at all in the division. Fuck those guys, and fuck the Paul goldschmidt MVP talk, he's not even the most valuable 1B in the league, let alone overall player.

Anyways, amazing shit by Ryu. I keep waiting for him to tire out and/or get figured out but it doesn't happen. Lets have Hanley and Ethier tomorrow (heard he was in te hospital with possibility of that mark Ellis leg disease he had last year) and lets finish this fucking sweep

Win, win, win. Same old lol.

Couple of questions. Do we pick up Mark Ellis' option next year and will Vin be back? Thoughts because this constantly winning thing is boring.

I'm upset I missed last night's game. I figured since we were facing the "best" pitcher in the NL we were bound to lose one. I guess not.

I say no. I'd push hard for Ian Kinsler, they need to move an IF so Profar can play and he seems most logical. Maybe Crawford or Ethier if we cover some of the money, or maybe Zach Lee and someone else.

Particularly sweet win beating this guy. Not because he's good, could be great, and he certainly is....it's his personality and ego. "hardest I've ever seen him hit", said Keith Hernandez. Loved every minute of it.
I think Kenley was lucky last night....to me, he looked a little gassed when he came in. The night before was arduous for him, and right back out there was a bit of a stretch, I thought.
It's funny how when the team is a juggernaut, moves that we all might be posting and ranting about the next morning, get sluffed off into insignificance.
I think when it's a 3-0 count, against a guy like Harvey (90% of the time), you don't give a batter the green light with one out. especially when he hits so many hard ground balls, a la Puig. Whats' the difference if you take one more, possibly load the bases, and then swing at a 3-1 pitch?? It's just as good as swinging at a 3-o pitch, no?
Anyway, it's water under the bridge, W's make it that way.
Punto is playing on a level I doubt he's ever reached before...remember when he were saying he was a throw in from Boston to make roster space. Damn.
And Crawfords' catch was a extraordinary effort. Whole new ballgame if that gets down. Tremendous.
I don't know if we have another 2b ready next year, or what will happen in the FA/trades market. But a short contract to Ellis doesn't seem unresonable, or one for Uribe.

Good point. I despised Uribe last year, so it's hard for me to say this, but I don't think there's huge urgency to replace him next year. His glove is of great value at that position, and he's at least holding his own at the plate. Big difference between he being a role player, which he is now, and he being the monumental offseason signing of a "big bat", which he was previously.

Good points. I'd be "less than excited" to signing Uribe to anything but a 1+1 given his history and age.

Cap goes 6.1 innings, giving up 1 ER on 8 hits.

I would like to keep both Ellis and Uribe, unless we have a surefire replacement already in place. Even then, I'd consider keeping them for depth. I can't imagine they're going to be too expensive, and the chemistry appears as great as ever (winning helps that obviously). Every team needs glue guys.
