    I don't give a fuck what the snag is, if this deal doesn't go through, this FO should be fired; all of them. The DD should've been done thoroughly before doing something like this. Totally unacceptable.

    This would be a massive blunder and there are no excuses. The head trainer, who they claim did a ton of cross-checking with regards to both the McCarthy and Anderson signings, has been Matt's trainer for almost his whole career and should know if he may have an issue which would allow him to pass a physical. This is very simple DD.

    Now, if there is an issue with one of the SD prospects coming back in the trade, that is a whole different story, but I would doubt that since none are major prospects and would likely easily be replaced in a trade.

    It could just as easily be a problem with Wieland. Guy is just coming off TJ surgery I believe and hasn't been very healthy the last 2 years. We'll see what the problem is/was tomorrow, so we really can't judge at this point.

    Like I said, I doubt it is an issue with a prospect coming back, but if there is one that there is an issue with, it would make sense the hold up is there with Wieland since he is being spun-off. Again, I have NO issue with the problem being on their side, but if Kemp is the issue, I will be pissed.

    well, if it's true that the prospects weren't to have their physicals until Kemp was cleared, and Kemp's physical was scheduled for yesterday, then you might say that nothing is up and that it'll be done tomorrow.

    after all, it's been reported that the Dodgers haven't been made aware of any " snags ".

    I'd imagine a lot of MLB players have arthritis after a 162 game season. What kind of physicals does SD run?

    i won't miss his minimum 150 strikeouts ( when healthy) either..not in this new era where it's been shown over and over that putting the ball in play has a ton of value.

    This is pretty interesting. I have to imagine the trade still gets completed, we'll have to possibly throw more cash in or something. There's no way you can bring Kemp back after trading him, right? lol
