This team is reeling. The only way to bounce back from that blown Houston series that we fucking gifted it to those loser cunts was to make a f.o splash and get some life back into the squad. We’ve failed. We won’t even take the West next year, imo. Going to be flat and lifeless, like we are.

I just mean, even without drafting him we were in the driver’s seat to have him in 2018+. Our FO fucked up. This was dumb.

Ozuna would be a way better get than Stanton and I legit don’t understand how you’d disagree

This is LA. Stanton is much better looking.
    So I disagree

What happened to only making a trade to add an impact player. I guess Stanton isn't an impact player

I'm calmer now. We'll just go in the next time an MVP-with-a-no-trade-clause-demanding-to-be-traded-to-only-us is available. Happens every day.

Stanton is now a Yankee so you gotta say good luck and go break a leg.
Now go fish at the Marlins fishfry and get back some black friday deals.

    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    1B: Bellinger
    LF: Ozuna
    RF: Puig
    CF: Yelich
    2B: Taylor
    C : Barnes

Imagine how nice it would be if Verdugo would one day turn into a Christian Yelich?
Toles is really nice but he is never going to hit 37 HR like Ozuna.
I think the Marlins would love how inexpensive an OF withToles and Verdugo will be for many years.

Ahhh......Remember the golden days when the Dodgers dominated with the return of homegrown heros like Daryl Strawberry.....oh wait, never mind. For some reason that shit doesn't seem to work out for the Dodgers. We're cursed in that way. Who knows what Stanton could have done for us.....But this off season is a mess if we don't improve in any way.

We need to address pitching yet again if a power lineup is not in store for us.

Gonzo was never an MVP and never had a full no-trade clause. He was also an important part of our team for 5 years before breaking down. But like I said, I’m calmer now.

i think im in about the same place w it
not really a stretch to see him getting broken in some way
add to that 200 k's a year and 96million reasons his last three years will be an anchor
once it became clear we actually had a shot at him of course i wanted him like everyone else
and making miami take back some of that stupid money they threw at him is justified
fuck them for giving a guy a contract like that
and if the yanks don't suddenly find a need for a sixth outfielder we were in the drivers seat
they have no starting pitching but go for the big contract and name
damn the torpedoes we can figure it out later
the upside and the downside of this are pretty clear
and sometimes there's a reason you don't get what you want
but man its hard to think it wouldn't have been fun watching him mash

No, you can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you find
    You get what you need
