If the Dodgers could acquire one player at the deadline, who would you prefer?

  1. Machado

    43.5%
  2. Front line starter (degrom, thor, et al)

    56.5%

Yelich and Ozuna were both more valuable than any other outfielder we had last year. Not Stanton sure but still really damn good.

Wow, just caught up with a lot of the news (Jews). The losses just keep on comings. Fun times. Great work, striking out more than Cody and Corey against a curveball. This shit is rubbing salt into the wound. This guy pretty much threw himself at us.

Plus we have a third baseman and shortstop already, the Dodgers are not going after Machado... or Harper... or Donaldson in the off season. This FO just sent a clear message, they aren't going to be doing long term contracts. I would not be shocked to see if that Jansen deal is the longest one that this FO does for a good while(not counting arb, pre-arb guys). I know it is crazy to say, but I really believe that if Kershaw opts out after this season, they let him walk.

Well lets hope that Taylor, Turner, Bellinger, and Seager can all have career years once again, two in a row each! Fat Chance I say.
And we don't need Stanton, we have Tolles coming back. Feel Better? I thought not.

I honestly didn't really feel we needed Otani and/or Stanton, but why am I suddenly pissed we didn't get either? Fucking spoiled Dodger fan?

For free agents as well. Partly why teams are kicking the tires on Machado, don't think anybody expects Machado to get a deal done with Angelos

Of the 4 guys you mentioned, at least two of them in all likelihood will be better next season just based on regular progression trends. Taylor SHOULD be better has he gets more comfortable with his new swing and is still technically in the middle of his prime. Turner is the only one that is expected for regression and that is age related, but Turner has been anything but conventional since he came up. Even Puig should be better than last year as he really didn't start catching on with his new approach until the season went on and then it all clicked down the stretch. This isn't a team on its way out the door, this team's window just opened up and won't be closing anytime soon. If you listen to people in the industry, they all say the same thing, this team is built to be scary for the foreseeable future. It still stings that we were a mere win from the championship, but it was built on the backs of a lot of players that still have a lot of growing to do.

No wonder you never understand my posts at all. Dude is being completely literal and you think its an analogy! lol

It is the exact same thing that happened with KG. As a Laker fan that is the first thing that came to my mind when it was announced that the Yankees were getting in on the deal. This shit was preordained just like with ex Celtics. Ex Yankees always help the evil empire. That is why I never liked Mattingly or Torre.
There was no way that Jeter was not sending the most feared hitter in baseball to the Yanks.
But the commish here will not stop this for Baseball Reasons.

    What's the clear message?
Not saying you're wrong, but the only thing that changes, in the end, is the amount of years it's been since Dodger fans enjoyed a championship.
Some might take away, albeit sarcastically, a different message from these guys.
    Clearly.

i don't understand your posts because they're either too cryptic or superfluous
i know fall was being literal
but i'm not sure you understand the meaning of analogy/analogous
and no, it isn't derived from anal :buttsex:
