Rosenthal on MLB Network predicted Kemp will win from what he's hearing from fellow writers. Him, and the 2 other dudes picked Kemp for MVP on the show. This can be epic!
Is it bad that Rosenthal isn't even that disliked by me? Sure, he has a funny face, but he gives the Dodgers a good amount of attention. He's kind of a drama queen but he's not that stupid or doesn't try to be very smart. Heyman, Morosi, Singleton, and some others are pretty fucking bad
The funniest one was Heyman, who in 2010 said, "Kershaw is regressing a lot more than Billinsgley and will be worse than him in 2011 and forward" and one year later he said , "I wouldn't trade Kershaw for anyone" Ahh
^ I don't hate Rosenthal, he's just not the most credible source. I get the feeling people feed him pseudo-info just to fuck with him.
I used to HATE Rosenthal. Why? Because he used to talk extreeeemly slow and sounded like a douche. Now, I think the TV/Radio people have brought it to his attention and he is better off for speaking at a more normal pace. It was bad before. He came off as someone who was speaking to the audience as if we were in kindergarten and didn't know a thing about baseball. Now that he is speaking a little more normal, I am okay with him.
Heyman is a retard. I remember that tweet lol I probably hate him the most. Harold Reynolds is just really really stupid though. He said OBP is overrated and he'd rather have Curtis Granderson then Miguel Cabrera because Granderson scored more runs.
The other thing is, if he had a MVP bonus clause in his last deal they definitely addressed it! If idiots like Schilling want to continue to suck off everyone east of The Rocky Mountains then let them. It's nothing new.
I can't stand Harold Reynolds. And Eric Byrnes may be annoying, but this made me dislike him a lot less...
C'mon Irish...you hate whoever you want, brother...but I just remind you, before any dispensation is given out by you, this stupid asshole threw his bulldog in SF bay off the back of a boat. A fucking bulldog.
What a fucken douchebag. Somebody needs to throw his dumb ass into a pit of poisonous snakes. I rescind the part about me disliking him less.
Question of the day: Who should be NL MVP? The question of who should win the National League Most Valuable Player Award raises an age-old debate: Should the success or failure of the team a player is on play a role in the voting? Take the top two candidates this year. On the one hand, you have Matt Kemp, who was third in the league with a .324 average while leading in home runs (39), runs scored (115), total bases (353) and RBIs (126). Kemp's Dodgers, however, finished in third place in the West with 82 wins. Meanwhile, Ryan Braun led the Brewers to their first-ever NL Central title while leading the league with a .994 OPS and .597 slugging percentage while finishing second with a .332 batting average and 336 total bases. Is Braun more valuable because his team won the division? Or is Kemp's season more impressive given he was not in a lineup with as many good hitters as Braun? What about Albert Pujols and Lance Berkman? Would the Cardinals have found a way to win the NL Wild Card without either of them and should that be a factor? Speaking of which, Justin Upton at times single-handedly carried the D-backs' offense and they surely would not have won the NL West without him. We'll know in less than two hours who the winner is, but that will likely not end the debate.
