    • Matt Kemp isn't going anywhere, as much as the Dodgers would have loved to trade his contract. But Kemp was never going anywhere; his contract is too prohibitive, his defense too poor and his batting line too uninspiring to stir up much interest. Moving forward, the move of Yasiel Puig to center field has lined up the outfield as Carl Crawford, Puig and Kemp from left to right. Manager Don Mattingly had been reluctant to move Puig to center due to some of his adventures in right field (which have been less of an issue this year), but he's clearly the guy with the speed and range to play there. Well, him or Joc Pederson. Don't rule out a Pederson call-up in August.

    Just a general comment about the still evident anti Kemp feelings by a limited number of Dodger fans here there and elsewhere. I wonder how much of it is the effect Kemp has some on some woman. You have to wonder how many of the girlfriends, wives, mothers and others who find Kemp hot have significant male others who feel threatened. How many boyfriends have had their ladies provide Kemp a moment or two of quick pleasure in the parking lot of a club and are still bragging about it. How many husbands have been watching a game only to see their wives rubbing their thighs together when Kemp comes up. There has to be a rational reason for the still current anti Kemp rantings on the part of some out there. Not in this forum but especially in the newspaper which is more anonymous. Just wondering.

    As noted above when it comes to Dodgers my fantasy resides with Jamie. Now Jamie on the other hand since Irish has ceased feeding my fantasy I must admit my Dodger lust level is gone.
