Fuck yeah! I can't wait to see what 40-year-old outfielder Ned's eyeing.

I heard he's been calling Jamie Moyer as well. Exciting times ahead with Ned at the head of the table.

Is there anything really left to talk about or discuss or moan over...it all seems so futile now to even come up with any ideas...if there are any.
The numbers are so against us and grow every day. I try and find some redeeming qualities in the way we play, but the only thing might be, "at least we went down with a fight". I guess you could call it a fight, being down one run at the end of the games each night. But what a fucking useless substitute for victory.
I can also postulate that they, the Giants, AZ, and CO and let's throw in the Padres (who will sweep us) too, are just not as good overall as they are playing. And we are not as bad as we have been playing.
Do you believe that? If you do, would you like to buy this watch?

Oh, Kenley Jansen was good...and damnit, so was Dee again. And a LAD fan in the stands made a nice play.
And why would DBB not pinch run for Gonzo immediately after the RBI hit? Why? So that an injured, plodding baserunner has zero chance and so he can risk injury?
Even a mosquito stops sucking when you smash it's fucking head in....c'mon Donnie.

That was a rough one. Nothing went our way and everything always goes the Giants way.

They are the champs and our half of a team lost 3 games by one run, coming from behind in them too.
It could've been worse, and I thought it would be.
My focus is still on Kemp and Ethier. They are the key.
Dee has brought something good to the team so far and that's excellent.
Cruz has to go yesterday, no more of this fucking around. If a trade has to be made...whatever.
The pitching is still suspect...but I believe the pen will work itself out and the rotation is injured a bit. We can pitch well enough soon.

Bottom line is, Kemp and Ethier. I love em both but for now....They are my new Loney's.

We need something to spark this team. Like a music video for team unity. Wasn't IBB the PR director for the Rams at one point?

Not sure why Cruz continues to get AB's. Can him already.

Tough series. Dee certainly added a bit of a spark, unfortunately, not quite enough of a one.

Still can't believe Donnie made AJ bunt... With Skip on deck. Fuck me.

I hope they call up several players today and dump Cruz, DL Ellis and Hairston.

Poor Puig must feel like Homer Simpson. Every player is falling except the one that plays your position!!!

So many damn questions....It absolutely needs to be done, since a few kids, no matter how inexperienced they are (or how badly they do) , can't be any worse than it is now....can we really afford to shorten the roster by keeping Ellis on it? And looking to Cruz and Sellers as "guys off the bench"? What shot did Hairston have last night really, AB with a strained groin? Not too good, I don't think. And we may be AB fro two more nasty series with AZ and the Padres. Ugly. It's a shame the even CK isn't a lock W, not with this lineup.
And IDK, but are we still carrying three catchers, or is Fedex down? That would be 23 players capable of going out there on the field? Is this smart on behalf of the team? It's almost like they are trying to be dolts...and succeeding very well at it, IMO.
I can hear people saying... in defense of DBB, "he's only got those guys to use; it's not his fault they suck"...that's true...but WTF are the minor leagues for? Isn't there someone down there that can pop up too, like Cruz...WTF happened to this guy?
Can we at least TRY and have a team that can do more than put RISP and leave them there? TRY?
Alternately, the minor leagues must look pretty damn lean in talent if they are staying with guys like Cruz and Sellers and Wall...alarming, in a way, because it seems like spending Steingrabber type money is definitely not the answer. Nor is Magic and new scoreboards, either.
    So far.
