I know many will say "BRING ANYONE", but after all, everyone has a preference...
Who would you rather face in the NLCS?
I say the Pirates. The Cards pitching is just too deep and their lineup is dangerous top to bottom... Plus, they've been there before, so they might handle pressure better...
Also, if its the Pirates, we have HFA and having Greinke and Kershaw pitching at DS for the first 2 games could be a big difference...
Cards. I just feel we'll be road warriors this year from the LDS to the LCS to the (hopefully) World Series.
And I want to beat them. Bad.
I want the Pirates so we can start Greinke at home.
Also, best part about this, no Phillies!
I want the Cardinals. Bring it on.
That way we can win the series at home in Game 4.
Don't care. Gotta beat the best to be the best.
I'd prefer the Pirates though.
Not as good at baseball
And my friend is an insufferable Cards fan.
I also don't want the Cards to be in another WS so sooner they're eliminated the better
Pirates. Having Greinke followed by Kershaw at home against Liriano and Burnett (both have ERAs over 4 on the road) would be huge.
The upside to the Cardinals is Wainwright couldn't go again until game 3, meaning Kershaw and Greinke should have an advantage.
and no Matt Stairs...
And no Broxton.
HFA would be nice, but too much of a crapshoot, so who knows. I guess I prefer Pittsburgh but this is a crazy time of year.
I can't wait for Martin to go HAM on us.
I just noticed that their rotation was Lynn, Kelly, Wacha and Wainwright... I like our chances against that rotation... but their lineup still scares me...
Uribe would eat him alive...
If it's the Pirates I will be there on Friday night.
THe one day I don't have school or work (today) there is no Dodger baseball.
Should be liked twice...
what happens if its in StL? refund?
