You gotta be able to expand the lead when you have the chances. This is what killed us in 2008 against the Phillies.
Rather have no guarantee of getting a hit than guaranteeing an out. Especially under those circumstances.
It's not that rare of a move...but it was wrong in that situation for me. If M Ellis was up and Hanley/AGon/Puig up next, I'd be a lot better with it.
