My grade is a B-...... Gordon trade still a winner in my books. hatcher kike barnes and kendrick out that deal.. kemp/grandal even in my opinion. grandals injuries have been concerning. but when healthy is a allstar catcher utley trade brillaint and more than expected montas johnson thompson trade was another steal . read up on the specs and the contributions we already have received rollins and wood olivera johnson paco avilan trade were terrible latos terrible signings have been pretty meh or lack there of Id say this is where they failed the most and where they get most of their critique .. They've done a great job keeping our great specs and growing our talent level through out the minors as well as keeping the Major League club playoff competitive. Who would of thought CK and greinke would wet the beds in back to back playoffs(ck 2 years ago greinke last year)?....I remember the days of this very same crew shitting their pants when James McDonald got traded or when Ruby de la rosa and Webster were in the gonzalez deal.Crying and saying we will never produce any home grown players if we trade them all. Now when we actually have players worth a damn we get impatient that it isnt happening fast enough and we get frustrated we arent signing big free agents forgetting that aging players want big contracts that would block possible roster spots for the specs we are protecting..Seasons 3 weeks old and fans already freaking out.lol..Every game matters but with so many injuries to key projected contributors this current 25 man roster will be different by 5 to 8 diff players by the time july/aug rolls around. Remember no Ethier Ryu montas Van slyke crawford bolsinger right now. when they return they will definitely impact the team and how the bull pen will be configured.
I don't see how the Kemp trade can be anything other than an A. Even if we got nothing back we would be winners imo.
