    I'd get cavities with Tootsie pops cause like the wise old owl said, it takes only 3 licks before you get to the center.

    Not old. Just a real red blooded american.
    I dont usually eat hot dogs but when i do its an all beef frank with lots of regular yellow mustard.
    Now a knockwurst topped with varied roasted peppers and some grilled onions and garlic goes down really well with some brown mustard.

    I like fried hot dogs with french toast or pancakes so i can dip them in the syrup.
    Our school lunches sometimes involved fried hot dogs with pancakes and so there is this weird childhood nostalgia that makes it taste way better than it should.
    Nostalgia = Preprogramming.

    Kinda reminds me of that scene in Goodfellas, where the wise guys are having a get together and there is a coil of sausage cooking in a cast iron skillet with peppers and onions. That's "sahsage and pehpahs" to you paisan.

    I was thinking before of the scene in "The Deerhunter" just before they go hunting ( first time...'one shot'), the big guy Axel, takes the Twinkie, and dips it in the mustard. Freaks out the other dude.
    Maybe it's a Russian Orthodox thing.

    The center is Tootsie. Having a hard time grasping your Tootsie Roll disdain. That said, a Tootsie Roll has to be fresh. Anything less is a jaw breaker.

    Old school cherry or orange for me.

    Don't get me started. There are films that I know pretty much the whole dialogue...Deerhunter is definitely one of them.
    Last week, at my physical, the x ray tech asked me did I ever see " History of the World"...she got me rolling, and when I got to doing the "hump or death" thing, the doctor came in and asked "wth is going on in here?
