So we have a pitcher that must use baby soft on his fingers, an undersized pitcher with a known arm issue pitching batting practice ever start, a pitcher coming off a shoulder injury that blanked him for 2 seasons, and a couple of other pitchers who would probably be in the BP if not for lack of SP on this team. That leaves one reliable starter on this team. What was the point of keeping Urias in the minor leagues right now? Yeahhhhh.....the Dodgers are "changing" how teams use SP.
LMAO only Puig would get the 3-0 green light, get the dream meatball fastball down the pipe, and bounce it to shortstop for an effortless 6-4-3
Kike now has driven in as many runs as Gonzalez. Also, he, SVS, Barnes, and Taylor all have more home runs than Gonzalez. So remind me again, why is Adrian still our cleanup hitter?
It's not even fair. Embarrassing for a team with the highest payroll is baseball. Again, we have to revert to the hackneyed excuse that it's still early and "we're a second half team." God I'm sick of that.
.....and as Maeda continues to pitch BP the FUCKTARDS relish in the ingenuity of the incentive laden deal they gave him. It was ONLY his honesty and willingness to prove himself that saved them from this being yet another disaster of a signing.
Pretty much since the all-star break last year, which is why I don't understand how we were counting on him this year. He has been next level bad this year
So he turned out to be safe on an infield single (on replay), but he was originally called out on a grounder deep into the 6-hole after Owings looked and pumped to third before throwing to first. Implausibly slow.
No, not always this bad. But over rated? Absolutely. And if and body's got the "any team would take a 16 game winner like him on their staff"...that was then, this is now; and he's not our number 5; he had huge luck at going the bare minimum last season; he has a nice inning, and then grooves it the next. Too many down Broadway, man.
I'm with Turner, I'm amazed a piece of shit like Hoover got an offspeed pitch over in that situation.
