7 games left in the season, and I can't wait to really step back and think about what we witnessed this season in terms of Puig and Kershaw. Puig, with insane amount of hype and people wanting him to fail so bad, comes up and has a .950 OPS in his rookie year. Just sensational and fucking ridiculous really. Even with pitchers adjusting to him and people thinking it was gonna be easy to get him out, he just continued doing what he does and hitting the ball ridiculously hard, ridiculously often. I mean really.. a .950 OPS and Kershaw. ERA under 2, and I mean it's surprising but really, people aren't that surprised. 3 years in a row he will have the ERA title. That's insanely good. Two phenomenal talents that we just witnessed that I'm going to love for everything they've done this year regardless of wtv comes next month.
I am going to rewatch Puigs home run with Vin getting excited over and over and over and over and over. Monstrous talent, fucking monstrous.
don't forget all the people saying that Greinke wouldn't be worth what he was paid. ace #2 has been well worth the money. and then Hanley's level of play when healthy has mirrored Kershaw's this year, so MLB also saw the return of one of it's very best talents in HanRam. he's a Top 5 player in MLB right now.
only got to watch moments of this one while on the phone/grill master etc. but saw kersh look dominant and saw that monster puig hr. these are the type of wins i hope we keep pulling out through the end of the season.
found a better one for uribe especially since he had that pot leaf hat hanging in his locker... :jabba:
