ROBERTS: "Hey Big Guy. I've come up with a great idea. I'll have Walker start the game, and then -- after just one pitch -- I'll bring you in!!! The Braves will never see it coming. Isn't this great?!!!" SCHERZER: "Um, you know what?... my arm's dead, I can't go." ROBERTS: "Oh shoot, that's a shame. But I've got some other ideas… would you like to hear them?!!!" SCHERZER: "Ugh, I can't wait to be a free agent." ROBERTS: "That's right, I am half Asian." SCHERZER: "I really fucken hate you." .
fucken media making such a big deal out of the astros making the ws three times in five years funny, don't recall it being that big a story last year when made it to our third in four years fuck the media, fuck the astros
Dave has really fucked things up this postseason. Not all the blame is on him because our offense has had some really lame performances but his management of the bullpen/starters has put us in a huge fucking hole.
had hope getting by game 6 but again this smacks of desperation i'll watch of course but Ferris had to be saved for a potential game 7 davey oh daaaaaaavey go fuck yourself
Can't help seeing an incredibly similar path Dave has walked to that of Joe Torre, HoF mgr., who was given every piece and bit he needed to mold a dynasty, and destroyed pitcher after pitcher. I don't know if Max is blown up, or Kelly, or Buehler,or maybe even Urias... but I'm definitely seeing and hearing things from people I never thought I would these days. I don't know what this says going forward about resigning Max, but it does put somewhat of a juandiced light on a resigning. Bad luck and circumstances also contributed to a growing deterioration of the team's core as the year progressed to what we have now, certainly not all Roberts fault, but his " cuteness" and micro managing overuse moves were the straw the eventually stirred the kool-aid for the Dodgers. I wonder where we go from here...
if he truly is a puppet that just makes my hatred for the man worse no one had done less w more in the history of the game

@ByMcCullough Max Scherzer said he had not been able to throw beyond 60 feet before yesterday. He got up to 90 but still felt fatigued. He left the door open for an appearance in Game 7. We shall see.
Scherzer is not the kind of pitcher who would take too kindly to a bean counter’s order to not pitch when he can. This is obviously serious enough for Max to acquiesce and not pitch this crucial game.
Yes, this postseason, but IMO his mismanagement in the regular season cost us more. We should've won the division, had Max pitching NLDS game 1 on extended rest, then the other starters would also have been rested. Yes the Giants had an incredible season, but we should've out-won them. Now, we've been scrambling with pitching since the WC game.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of bullpen games, but it worked a couple days ago, and today really calls for one. The relievers all had a recovery day. And if Buehler struggles today, we use our pen extensively and if we somehow win, tomorrow we don't have a starter (a rested one) plus our pen is shot. This is another head scratcher.
Hoping that AJ/Trea have new confidence and play well after their game 5 performances. We need the offense to step up more than ever....I think Atlanta puts up at least 5 runs
