did you hear his comments the other day about Nolan? basically said he thinks the team would play better without the stress that comes with playing with him or something weird like that
Ouch... Honestly everything I have heard about Blackmon, Arenado and Story is that they're not the best in the clubhouse. Rox ownership would never let them move any of those guys.
I take those comments in that they realized the season was over and it allowed the guys to relax. Same shit happened a couple of years ago with them when they fired Hurdle and then took off. Players said they were tight cause they loved their coach and didn't want him fired. When it happened, they just said "fuck it, let's play ball."
Well, one upside of Covid, HOPEFULLY, is that I won't have to get agitated watching the Dodgers in another all-out champagne celebration over just a division win. Time for them to save it for the biggest prize.
I saw them do that in summer camp I think but I think that’s the first time the Dodgers have done the 4 man OF in a regular season game. Probably just practicing it in case they wanna deploy it for some hitters in the playoffs
Joc looks bad out there, but man he still has the hospital band on... hard to imagine whatever it is he’s going through on a personal level. Wish he was tearing it up though, he’s one of our funner postseason batters against righties, he can turn around any fastball
He has been so miserable this season, but how do you bench one of your most consistent post season bats?
