    Scott Elbert had another elbow surgery, he won't throw for 6 weeks. Looks like Paco might get the nod on the roster, unless someone else comes up, Lilly takes that spot, or another FA swoops in. None of the options get me mad, but I'd like maybe another dependable lefty for depth cause right now it's Howell and a kid we drafted months ago.

    Considering he got a 3 year deal, i'd rather have Howell anyway. Just give Paco the other spot, he'll have it by mid-season anyway.

    Yeah, Elbert is trash. Choate got a three year deal from STL. No thank-you.

    Paco is nasty and has a sweeping delivery; he'll be fine against lefties.

    WhyTF can't they just say "we'll wait to see what happens this coming season"....and then every person who isn't a banjo playing illiterate with is legs dangling off a bridge will know what the fuck it means.
    How much authority is in jeopardy, really? If he comes out and makes a pitching change, say, and somebody doesn't like it, what are they going to do or say to him? He makes out the lineup every night; as many different ones as he wants....we've certainly all seen that. How will his "authority" be usurped without an extension? he needs to earn his "faith" from the new ownership...show some expertise. WIN.
    Sure, we've got money. But to just throw it at him because, is plain stupid. Let him solidify his future with the LAD himself; there's plenty of other guys who would LOVE to work for them- and just as good as DBB is right now, for sure.
    He's gonna play all the millionaires and every LLer knows it....if they suck, then it'll be his fault. Shit rolls downhill. And he should be fired. and it'll be more of the same 'ol Ned crap. Like always.
    Otherwise, why not a reward if he brings fruition to the fans... finally.
    If they insist on money, then one year at the most. If he doesn't like it, there's lots of other teams out there.

    All full season, partial season and mini plans include opening day, and considering that they now have 27,000 full season ticket holders, I wouldn't be shocked if they had 40,000-50,000 including the other options.
