Agreed, all bets are off after the initial ovation and whatever, especially with a rival team on the road. Greinke probably would've been given a standing ovation if he had a great outing. Pretty simple, though, if he doesn't like the chant..stop sucking. Lol
I don't think the Maeda signing was an either/ or thing with Greinke...of course, I don't have the secret info that others do. Pretty sure it was in addition to...like they wanted both. Probably wrong.
Man, Corey spit on Greinke's 1-2 and 2-2 offerings after falling behind 0-2 and you could see Greinke 2nd guessing himself after getting the ball back from home plate. This was after Corey drove him off the wall on a 3-0 fastball down the middle Greinke didn't know WTF to do
The ONLY reason I would guess is the reason for letting him pitch another inning is that they plan on giving him an extra day of rest otherwise it was pretty dumb.
