Just horrible. Truly deserving of its own section.

What are your thoughts? Not sure I can stomach him doing NOTHING for the team. Doesn't hit, doesn't play defense, doesn't get on base, doesn't steal efficiently...what does/WILL he do?

I've never expected much out of him since he's been in the minor leagues but dayum. I know it's early....

He sucks, but what are you gonna do? The people who suggest Sellers aren't thinking. I'd rather give Dee a chance and maybe he turns it around than Sellers who is definitively below average. Gotta play this out.

i agree with goat, he needs to bat 8th. if I were Mattingly I'd tell him he's gonna bat there to take work on his plate approach and try to get on base more.

No alternative is good enough to give up. We MUST let him try. But man is he horrible right now.

Once we start losing because of his horridness, I'm sure something willl be done, or at least addressed.

he sucks now and I agree with you but theres no way in hell I'm trading a guy who's 24 for a guy who's 38
thats probably not the point you're trying to make but still. he still has the upside of an above average shortstop. you dont give up on that after a month

Well, He's impressive with the arm. He really seems to have a good game once a week, a merdiocre game once a week, and complete waste of breath the rest of the time. He's going to be right there with Loney and Uribe as guys that need to be replaced ASAP in my book.

He'll be fine. He is pressing and it's his first full year in the majors, plus it has only been one month.
