Said this exact thing in another thread. Makes absolutely zero sense. Dave is clueless, but I will also put blame on the front office because somebody up there needs to be chirping in his ear about this.

Vargas may end up being nothing, but we legit will never know unless we give the guy a chance. I'd understand if he was blocked by a couple of superstars, but we have a fuck ton of scrubs getting AB's, HOW COULD IT BE ANY WORSE?

 

Like the bar is so fucking low with Lux, Taylor, Kike, Rojas and Heyward, that there's zero reason he shouldn't be playing daily at 3B, 2B or LF/RF.

There's actually a strong likelihood he puts up numbers better than at least one of those fucking losers.

 

When you're in the Army, ( if you haven't been), you quickly learn that there are 3 ways to " solve"
every problem. The right way...the wrong way...and the ARMY way.
Using that template, this is the classic DODGER way.

Watching Paxton pitch is disheartening enough, with his high over the top of the zone over and over pitching, but to not let him finish or try and get out of that inning was pure bullshit.
And although Roberts has no crystal ball fortelling results from that pile of shit wildman Ramirez' three batters, it was bottom feeder shit taking Paxton out, stupid and petulant, and I have lots of trouble even watching Paxton.

 

Taylor gets 1 hit in 4 plate appearances yesterday, so standard Dave logic means he absolutely must start today lol
