That was Clemente like. Re. his offense, what the fuck is that move of watching 2-0 pitch with your bat on your shoulder? Then he compounds it with a check swing strike on a 3-1 pitch which should have been ball four. He's not if not exasperating.
when i was a kid i thought Vlad and Mondesi were Gods with the arm but they don't have anything close to Puig's accuracy. Not just the accuracy but the way he reads the bounces and can play them nicely to be efficient. I want him to be hitting well so bad to be able to enjoy it all
Man, I am really enjoying Joe Davis. He's also actually funny, not awkward funny like Nomar and Orel are.
I enjoy him also, at first I didn't cause thought he was boring but he does well. I still think him and Orel is the best combination, with Nomar it just feels like too many opinions being thrown around. The broadcast booth shouldn't feel like late night sports talk radio and sometimes it does
The great Clemente. Mondy threw the shit out it, too. Among current players, Kiermaier from Tampa is the closest to Puig I've seen.
He's solid. Follows the ball well, unlike Steiner. You don't really notice him at times, which is a good thing. Doesn't seem to be a homer, either. I like that.
Was sitting here watching w mom and she said "thats what he's supposed to do" after i finished freaking out And I said "you've been watching baseball for what 80 years or so? when was the last time you saw a throw like that?" She just cracked a smile and shrugged her shoulders
