Well, I guess it's the completely fabulous AZ pitching, or whatever...but if we are gonna show up with this kind of offense against the better teams, we are going nowhere...
Logan is a veteran and although he is struggling but he is still getting on base via Walks and defensively he he is all hustle. Plus he is trying g to grind it out and his expressions aren't smirks aka Pederson. Big diffrence.......
He is hitting the same slump Puig hit and needs to be platooned until he can prove to be a focused player. He has to own CF and not let Puig call him off. CF is not a position but am attitude. Puig has it and brings it to RF which is why he is the best. Koc needs to develop that character. And decide what type of hitter he wants to be now. Not someday or on good days or when healthier or whatever but what can I do ok right now if I focus and work hard. Then get good at that and then add a lil bit to that every year. Building that foundation will let him add back facets to his game.
Exactly what joc should be doing. Logan knows because he is a veteran. Joc should be about getting walks and playing hard on defense and showing an all business face to fans opponent teammates and the org. Nobody can show you but by example and then you have to recognize. And drop your head and follow the leaders. And know your role. And just do it.
How anyone can ascertain what kind of expression Joc has on his face is beyond me...to me, the guy's emotions are a vast wasteland...barren. I guess what you see every night doesn't really matter or count any more. I fail to see his value over another player...similarlily with Forsythe. People come up with this stat or that stat and tell you really good they are...but look like they suck. Like a reverse mirage...you can't see it, but it's supposed to be there.
