Like stated earlier the SFags know how to win. It is a collective bee hive mentality of sacrifice towards a common good. Actually caring about the team good. Dodgers had cancer with Kemp. Smart to let him go from solely the clubhouse vibe perspective. Probably the same for Uribe though he took Puig's mojo with him. The SFags are 5 in front but they also rattled off a 15-2 stretch to gain that lead. We're never getting back Ryu and half of the other broken down basement bargain the Nerd collected but we're due for a run if ANYONE starts hitting other than the rookies. Our clubhouse mojo under a rookie manager was weak to begin with and now? Well ...at least Puig is on the involuntary DL. Sitting his ass helped the team compete and all three games were close. We're not so far lost in the dark despite daily declarations of the obvious proving the contrary

I was actually working towards levity, and throwing in an obscure Pink Floyd lyric, and mostly agreeing with you that people give up too easily.
