a lot of great points for every Ortiz/Velez acquisition/signing he can counter with Carroll/Hairston it's just that his bad signings are so bad that they kinda (perhaps unfairly) overwhelm what good he's done admittedly, I've been critical of him this is his chance to shine, to prove us all wrong I think Kasten will let him do his job -- to an extent -- but will have final say/veto power
Julio Lugo was trade was great...except that Lugo suddenly and inexplainably forgot how to hit the minute he came to L.A.
