That brought back bad memories of some of our meltdowns at Philadelphia in the past. Hate that fucking park.
Also lost on an inexcusable error by Utley and a RBI double to fucking Featherston God this game sucked big time ass
I'm going to guess that the plan was Fien in the 6th, Dayton in the 7th, Blanton in the 8th, Jansen in the 9th, and then Fien getting in trouble early caused Dayton to come in earlier. Idk. A tough loss but not anything you can see lingering since Libby should come up and essentially replace Dayton. Don't make it a trend and it can be ok
It would help so much if Rich Hill just fucking pitched for us. Can't believe that dude is still sidelined with a blister of all things....unreal.
Idk just make it to the homestand in 1st place This is driving me nuts let's just get to late September already
Failed to add on runs later in the game, something they've done very well recently. Going to have to outscore people to win this division.
After all the recent Dave R fellatio here, he sucked tonight...pretty hard and long himself. Wasn't crazy about his pitching management one iota in this game. Kike has rendered himself just about useless offensively. I know you can throw him in here and there on D, but he blows at the plate. Stripling looked without energy tonight, imo. Listless.
I don't understand Roberts sticking with Dayton going into the 7th against a guy who's hitting 1.000 against him and another righty right behind him. Not to mention he threw 24 pitches last night. Roberts has done a pretty good job all year but he fudged this one up. Turn the page and pound cincy. We will still be in 1st place when we wake up in the morning.
And wtf is up with Ryan Howard. This fucktard is one of the worst players in all of baseball yet he still finds ways to pound the Dodgers offensively. I don't get it.
Yeah, the pitching Frankenstein monster they created, all bits and pieces from here and there, is wearing down. She hate me. Darn, this is taking a little away from their genius status...just a wee bit.
Always did...nothing new. You give a guy his size a meatball down Broadway, there's a real good chance it will end up far away from home plate.
Why throw him a fastball down Broadway. Make him chase shit in the dirt like he normally does. There's a reason the dude is hitting at or below .200
I was actually going to post that Puig on the bench is a better shot than Kike any day of the week, and twice on Sunday. Shit he can whiff or pop out, too...but could run into one. I see it as a worth while shot, but don't want to start Star Wars. Wtf good is he down there? I guess I'm missing the wisdom of taking Puig off the 25, but keep Kike on it?
Just noticed our old pal Justin Ruggiano is on the Mets. He was pretty good for us last year...wouldn't mind having him off the bench.
After I type that, Ruggiano hits a grand slam off Bumgarner. Wow....can the Mets give us him back for the series next week? 2-2 off Bumgarner tonight. They can have Kike.
