I don't know why, but having the worst record of NL playoff teams bothers the hell out of me. And not opening the playoffs at Dodger Stadium disappoints me. Giving the Mets a chance to feed of the NY crowd legitimately hurts us as well. So damn disappointing all around.
I feel the same. Especially when you look at our payroll, it's embarrassing. The injuries have just fucked us. Losing puig, ryu, and Howie for a time was too much. We're now limping into the playoffs. At least kike is coming back.
Fuck you Anderson. Dre gets you two back and you take another shit. We needed this game but Anderson wont let us have it
What's sad is those 3 guys aren't the ones costing the Dodgers a crazy amount of money. Even with Greinke and Kershaw feasting the fuckers played .500 ball for about a 100 game stretch. Thank goodness they started out like the '27 Yankees...neither Puig nor Ryu was around for that.
So much for Anderson settling down. There's so much uncertainty surrounding this team so late and so close to the playoffs, that when you compare it to the excitement in NY, Chicago and Pittsburg, this feels more like a funeral dirge. I've never felt so much that 13 more wins seems impossible. Last year, I felt much more confident than this year.
God, I hate Brett Anderson. Him starting a postseason game would be an automatic win for the other team.
Last year's team was the biggest group of front runners. They had what?..2 or 3 comeback wins all year? Rolled over and took it all year when things weren't going their way.
I still felt like that team was a series away from winning it all. Think they would have beat the Giants/Royals....this year's team feels like an underdog vs every possible playoff team. Rangers/Royals/Blue Jays/Cubs/Pirates/Cards/Mets all better....I guess you can say were better than the Yankees and the AL WC team
