I liked the Nick Van Exel Lakers. This team is like a better version of that. Instead of these older players maybe the Lakers wait for an Anthony Davis, Giannis, or Karl Anthony Towns. Like when Shaq and Kobe arrived on the scene. The Lakers are a great supporting cast without a star. There is enough talent on the team to support any one of these top caliber players. And the point about LeBron being #1 @ 12:01, no matter what..LeBron was going to be #1 at the outset, which immediately put George at #3 because he was looking at how serious LAL is regarding a Kawhi trade - when he couldn't get his LAL trade. To be fair, George may not even have been #3. Boogie Cousins on a short term, max deal is a pretty good buy if LeBron is your lead dog on the roster. A healthy Boogie easily being better than George.
