Props to Agon for his patience in the 9th (drawing the walk in 10 pitches); Ellis for coming up clutch along with Hanley following Agon's walk; Withrow for going 3 strong innings; Hanley and Ellis again for coming up clutch in thie 14th; and last but not least, Kenley for being a fucking boss and going 2 innings.

 

THIS is the team I expected to see all season

Full disclosure, the way this team was playing at the beginning of the season, I thought what a bunch of cush seeking, overpaid, under achieving losers. Then there was talk about Puig, and some experts were saying it was too soon....not good for his development.

Who knows if that will be true. But, the way I look at it, that was the spark that put the excitement back into Dodger games, and I will believe that this year, that excitement is what got the whole team to participate in that excitement.

We got a long way to go, but this is the kind of momentum that builds confidence....like there is no way we can lose a game, even when we are behind. This kind of thing wins championships.

Now I gotta wonder if we will make additional moves....get pitching, a bottom of the order kind of a guy for a big push.

This team is finally playing like it was designed to play.
