    Shit game all around

    Offense only gets 2 runs which means the pitching would have needed to be amazing to even win. Wood had an average outing, bullpen had a bad outing.

    So hey, at least they all sucked together!

    Yeah, the pen is a problem, but we've also seen everybody from Zimmermann ( good pitcher) to Doubrant ( bad pitcher ) shut the offense down recently. They didn't address the pen today, but hopefully Utley's hot bat can spark somethin positive with this offense cause this is bad. Gotta take advantage of these games.

    If they don't do well leading up to next Friday...boy. They could be in bad position by Sept 3rd...when another road trip begins.

    When they look like this against the A's you just cannot look forward to any road trip to anywhere...I don't give a shit if it's a trip to the OC to play the Halos or to SD to play the Padres. And they have a road trip coming right after their series with the Cubs and Giants. Shit could get bad reeeeeal fast if they don't step up. If I were running shit, I would've traded for a hot Utley today as well. Somethin's gotta shake. Saw some good signs from Hatcher today tho...

    BTW, how do we like our asses whipped...early or late in the day? Some of us carry the asswhoopin with us for the rest of the day...some of us move on to other shit and it helps us forget.

    Or do we prefer the asswhoopin from last night, where we can go to sleep and sleep it off...or does the asswhoopin invade your dreams? Hahaha

    What if the A's and Giants held " story time " meetings based on how much they bitch slap the Dodgers?
